Ipe timber is preferred for outdoor settings for its strength, durability, and resistance weather and wear. Preserving the sophisticated, chocolate brown color of Ipe timber is surprisingly simple, yet it can also be allowed to age and develop a subtle silver patina that enhances its appeal.
